Donate Overview
Just about everything we do requires some money in one way or another. “Donate” was created to help people, organizations, businesses and governments find and share financial resources more effectively. Using Donate, your organization can create separate campaigns for different areas of need or make just one general campaign. And for those looking to help financially, Donate is a great way to see the needs of organizations quickly and conveniently.
How It Works

From the “Make A Difference” Navigation Bar Link or from My Profile, click on “Donate” and then “Add”.

Choose the Community 2.0™ Website you belong to that you want this post to originate from in “Under” (only available when on Peoplemovers.com Community).

Choose the level of privacy. If you want this post to be broadcast across all communities that follow you, you must choose “Visible to All”.

Upload a photo that describes your need or a graphic that was created for this fundraising campaign. Please use jpeg format.

Enter a Campaign Name and a Short Description.

Choose the Community Topic (what’s this) that this Donate Campaign most closely relates to.

Enter the Start Date for this campaign and also an End Date.

Type or copy and paste more Description information you want to share. Give plenty of information so others will be knowledgeable about your goals and how they can help.

Currently, you can accept one-time or monthly donations directly using PayPal® or else have supporters go to another website. If you choose to use PayPal®, select “Yes” and give the email address on your account.

If using an “Alternate Link”, copy and paste the entire link. This will suppress any PayPal® information.

It is recommended that you also provide an address for supporters to “Donate via Mail”. Be sure to tell them who they should write out their checks.
